- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This Shawarma blows my mind! I've eaten lots of Shawarma in and around Ottawa from when I was a 1990's university student and right into my 40's. The Shawarma here at Des Lauriers rivals the best you can find in Ottawa hands down. The family platter is insane!!! The flavors are balanced, the grill is stupendous, the taste is simply to die for.
